I had the Green Machine custom made for step two in my learning process. I’d been surfing for about a year at this point with Elwood and was ready to bring the size down a bit and bring the maneuverability up. This poor thing has really taken a beating. I still had plenty of learning to do and I didn’t buy another new board for about 2 years, so the Green Machine really took the brunt of my learning. This board took me from getting up and driving down the wave to top turns, bottom turns, floaters and more. But for several years, this was my go-to board.
