Pirates! In an Adventure with Sharks

My apologies but the shark story is just not that interesting. Still, here it is.

I was surfing with the El Porto Friday Crew (featuring Chicken Dancer) several Fridays ago. When I was surfing into the beach for the last time, I saw a school of about 6 or 7 sharks. (They were most likely leopard sharks which run about 3 feet.) But when I saw them was right when I started losing speed on my board and had to jump off. I had no choice but to flop right into the thick of the school in about 2 feet of water.

Luckily for me the sharks were quite amiable and not of ill omen. Nor did the seem to have any ill-gotten gains. Nor did they eat George Gaynes as they mistook him for a sick manatee – bad eats (like bad dates).

Would we say “school” of sharks? I prefer satchel of sharks. Long live Lordleiter, tamer of sharks! Long the EPFC!

I believe a group of sharks is referred as a “comb.” A comb of sharks.
