Me on a PC
Dear PC Users,
For the first time, I looked at my site from a PC. Man! It’s not like I intended to alienate you or subject you to a poorly structured site. I just never had a PC to view it on. I will try to make amends when I have a PC long enough to test with.
However, I will not stop using PNG files. This may appear to you as a weird party hat (previously Santa hat) with gray around it floating mysteriously in the middle of the header. If your browser was able to interpret PNGs properly, the party hat would have no gray around it and would sit atop the coffee drinker’s head. For this you will have to write to Bill Gates et al and demand a PNG supporting browser. Or, and this may rock your world, stop using Internet Explorer. Go get any of the Mozilla based browsers and use them instead. Remember, just because you are on a PC, doesn’t mean you don’t have a choice.
Now about the hat. I have no idea what to do for February. Have Cupid flying around him? Perhaps plucking off arrows now and again? That’s not much of a hat. What is a good February hat?
An iPod-shaped hat?
Wait, that’s a cup of coffee in that guy’s hand. Boy was I way off…
Oh, and some good one-pan pasta recipes in this month’s Sunset. I’m with you on the Sunset-rules-the-homeowner-and-Western-traveler-universe bandwagon.
Oh! He’s drinking coffee!! I always wondered what the vintage hot-watter-bottle guy was all about. Now I see it! He’s holding onto a coffee cup. (And yes, I always thought that floating hat was just poor design. Thanks for clearing it up. Should I give you one of my old PC’s?)
It’s all good, yo!
Perhaps a hoot hat. Or a Napoleon Dynamite wig. Nothing says love like frizzed out curls.
Oh man, totally. Sunset is the greatest magazine there is. And the one pan pastas are genius.
