The Lost Porto Video featuring The Aquamarines

Alright, here’s the video that nearly wound up in the Internet Ether.  I may have gone overboard with it.  Usually, I try to edit it and get it online pronto, but this time I had the clips for a whole weekend and the new iMovie ’09 to explore.

The biggest news about this video (besides that it almost never existed) is that the music in the video is generously provided by The Aquamarines.  El Porto Fridays are big fans of The Aquamarines.  The Aquamarines are a great band providing fully diggable pan-pacific psycho-surf instrumentals. Russell from the band was very cool in sending us a few tracks to use.  The song you are hearing in this video is called “My Wonderful Shadow.”  The Aquamarines are currently mixing and mastering their new album right now.  If you are fan of surf rock world lounge, you want to keep an eye out for this release.
