Little Birdie Told Me
At first I thought I had found a stray piece of packing styrofoam littering my patio. But just as I was about to grab it to throw it away, I realized that it was not styrofoam at all. It was a hatched bird’s egg. I don’t know what bird this belongs to, but I have a hunch it belongs to the chubby birds fighting over the bird feeder. The second image is the egg with my thumb for a size comparison. Going to have to find me a Peterson’s Field Guide to see if I can match the bird feeder pigs to the egg. Will let you know what I find out.
Keep the Nudge away from baby birdies.
I’m having a hard time getting an exact idea of the size of the egg as your finger size is not exactly a familiar frame of reference for me. If only Miranda had an iPod and you held that next to the egg, then everything would be crystal clear.
I dare say an iShuffle would be a truer test of egg size.
