This is a Becker Hybrid, a pin tail with a 2+1 fin set up. (7′ 4″ long x 20 1/4 wide x 2 1/2″ thick) It has a lot of float which makes it awesome for paddling and catching waves, and it has a pretty sweet turn and is quite a bit faster than my other rides. Since I mostly ride longer boards, this is my shorty. I break it out a lot more often in the winter time, but any time the swell gets over 3 feet I’ll usually paddle out on it. The guy I bought it from told me he thinks it was made in the late 80s, which would account for the insane neon yellow color that almost blinds you on a sunny day, and its a little thicker than more contemporary boards. That kind of sucks for trying to duck under oncoming waves while paddling out, but the extra float gets me into a lot more waves. Here’s a few pictures (including me getting one of my nicest rides ever on it, taken last March at Venice)
