A Post for the April Fool

Recently I stumbled upon an internet sensation that is sweeping the world by storm in a hand-basket. Rather than play the trick on you, I’ll just write you about it. It’s just as funny either way. It’s called “Rickrolled.” Essentially what happens is the web user is tantalized by an alluring link. But when the link is clicked, the user is taken to a video of Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up.”

For example, Click here for all your wildest dreams to come true.

Incidentally, I owe Rick a great debt of gratitude for it is he who taught me to dance.

I don’t see how this link ISN’T making my wildest dreams come true. Rick rocks the high-waist acid wash jeans!

I stumbled across the Rickrolling phenomemon a while back, but it’s probably for the best that you’ve reminded us all and are helping to keep it alive, because it would take a strong, strong man to ever let it go.
