Just for the record, I have the same problem with the OC Register. Maybe you look misinformed. Maybe you look like you have a lot of time to read the paper because you work (leisurely) from home. Maybe your paper boy thinks you’re a total hippie and you wanted the paper to make all kinds of “crafts.” Perhaps, and this may be a stretch, but perhaps, The Nudge ordered it because HE needs something to do all day. Basking in the sun and cuddling up around your feet can only get a dog so much satisfaction.
I just tried to send the following email via your “send Message” link – I do believe it is malfunctioning, so here it is anyway.
I saw this and immediately thought of you and your needs: http://www.paradisefoundonline.com/
Enjoy, if you haven’t seen this already. ;o)
Thanks for the sweet, sweet postcard from you and your lovely wife! I had recently seen Brokeback Mountain and that it was funny to recieve a postcard of a mountain (you’ll know what I mean when you see the movie – if you haven’t seen it already). I was worried my boyfriend would begin to wonder… have a great day!
I can’t help but wonder if it’s the individual paper carrier’s fault and not LA Times themselves. Maybe old habits die hard, and every Sunday he (or she) wonders why he (or she) is always one paper short. I feel bad for the last person on his (or her) route.
I didn’t even consider The Nudge to be the culprit. That’s worth looking into.
As for the paper boy and the last person on the route – surely the last person on the route would be calling every Sunday for months now…and saying, “Why do you keep delivering my paper to The Nudge?!” Maybe I can find out who they are and deliver it myself…and make a new friend. We can have coffee and make crafts together.

You were totally right. Send Message was kaput. I fixed it though. And thanks for the link. Time for some shopping.
