Did Santa Bring You Sweet Surf Gifts?

So, did Santa bring you anything awesome and surf related?  He did to me!  He brought me a pair of fins and a new camera to help make the El Porto Fridays videos even better.  (Well, it’s still up to us to make them better, of course, but we have the potential to get better.)  Santa also brought me Fierce Heart: The Story of Makaha and the Soul of Hawaiian Surfing to read. I’m about half way through, good stuff.

How about you?  What did Santa bring you?  (Tell us in the comments!)

An L.A. County Parking Pass for El Segundo (El Porto) & Royal Palms (San Pedro), Saves 7 Bucks every time I use it.

    2-Bars of Sticky Bumps (Cold)
1-Cool Beanie from Stavros Surf & Sport in San Pedro
    1- H. I. C. ( Hawaiian Island Creations) Rash Gurard
    A Quick Silver Wallet
The Drifter DVD featuring Rob Machado
The Book Featuring my Hometown Beach titled:
    Images of America: Cabrillo Beach

But the sweetest things were actually gifts purchased from me at my local Surf Shop (Kahanamokus Swim Boat in El Segundo) to give out as gifts (After all is it the season of giving).

3-GIft Baskets for Family Members and my Personal Trainer
    2-Dakine Wallets
1-heart shaped Doplhin Charm for a lady friend of mine

An Autographed 1977 Tony Alva Reissued Skateboard for a friends young son I had the deck, but I had the surf shop put the Trucks, Spacers and Wheels on it for me.

Now I’m just waiting for the simi-annual Dive N Surf sale so I can go out and buy me a new 3/2 wetsuit and a couple of leashes because this winters big surf is putting a lot of wear and tear on my equiptment

Nice, Miguel! Let me know how that Drifter DVD turns out. I’ve been wanting to see that.

I know how you feel on your wetsuit. All this big surf is punishing (in the most wonderful way). But I’ve noticed some of the seems around the arms and chest getting ready to give (probably because of my HUGE pectoral muscles). I keep crossing my fingers every time I put it on. I hope it lasts the winter.
